Inside Sales Representative

Inside Sales Representative

The Inside Sales Representative assists the Regional Vice President of Sales in B2B selling of Condusiv’s software products to IT Professionals looking to improve application and system (server and storage) performance in small to medium sized businesses as well as large enterprises. The Inside Sales Representative sells to existing customers and new prospects.

Location:This is a 100% REMOTE position done from your home office and services customers in the Western United States.

Compensation:30K base pay (including OT hours) plus commissions. Condusiv strives to hire highly productive individuals who produce outstanding volumes of sales to enable the total compensation to reach up to $80,000 - $100,000 in annual on-target earnings.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Works with existing customers to ensure they are running the latest version and fully abreast of the benefits they are receiving while uncovering and developing upsell and cross-sell opportunities to expand within the account.
  • Develops new sales opportunities from leads generated by marketing campaigns.
  • Generates quotes, work opportunities, provides sales forecasts and other duties to meet revenue targets.
  • Meets quotas for email and phone contacts, sales interviews and other Key Performance Indicators as assigned by management.
  • Manages his/her sales pipeline ensuring there are an adequate number of qualified opportunities in the pipeline and that these opportunities are moving through the sales stages in the expected time frame.
  • Liaises with sales engineers, support and others as needed to ensure any issues get handled to the end of a satisfied customer.
  • Works with resellers of our software to new customers
  • Keeps a complete record of all sales activities in Sales Force according to guidelines and best practices established by management.
  • Understands and can use the marketing and sales talking points to tell Condusiv’s value proposition in a natural and compelling fashion. Continually works to increase sales proficiency through study and practice. Stays abreast of current trends and developments in the IT world in order to have relevant discussions with customers and prospects. Becomes intimately familiar with Condusiv’s products, case-studies, technical requirements, features and benefits.

Requirements:

  • A high interest in and familiarization with technology
  • Proven success in a previous comparable sales position
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure sales environment and to achieve quotas
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and Salesforce or similar CRM
  • Must be coachable and a quick study

Recommended:

  • 3 or more years of B2B selling experience to IT professionals
  • Conversant with modern storage and virtualization technologies
  • BS/BA in Marketing, Business Administration or related
