South Regional Sales Manager

South Regional Sales Manager

The Regional Sales Manager sells Condusiv’s software products to IT Professionals looking to improve application and system performance in small to medium sized businesses as well as large enterprises, both by selling to existing customer accounts and acquiring new accounts. In addition to this, the Regional Sales Manager is responsible for the productivity and development of his/her two inside sales team members and associated channel partners.

Reports to: Sr. Director, WW Sales Ops

Job Location: This is a field position located within the assigned territory.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintains account-based relationships with key decision makers in the IT department within midmarket and large enterprise customers to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction while developing upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Develops new sales opportunities from initial contacts with inbound leads from marketing as well as through outbound cold-calling and prospecting targeted accounts.
  • Manages the sales life-cycle by guiding new prospects though qualifying steps, product evaluation and achieves revenue targets by bringing in orders.
  • Services the customer very well to ensure they are so satisfied with the products that they renew their maintenance each year and put our products into their standard builds.
  • Manages the overall sales pipeline for the region ensuring there are an adequate number of qualified opportunities in the pipeline and that these opportunities are moving through the sales stages in the expected time frame.
  • Recruits and onboards channel partners to increase channel-led revenue in the territory.
  • Develops quarterly territory sales plans in order to expand the customer base and increase revenue and sees to the execution of these plans.
  • Meets revenue targets set for the region by management.
  • Meets quotas for contacts, sales interviews and other Key Performance Indicators as assigned by management and sees that his or her team members meet theirs.
  • Keeps a complete record of all sales activities in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) according to guidelines and best practices established by management
  • Coaches and develops his/her inside sales team members to make them more successful.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Condusiv’s products and demonstrate the ability to converse with IT managers and CIO's in a compelling fashion by positioning Condusiv solutions to meet their needs.
  • Liaises with sales engineers, support and others as needed to ensure every customer has a positive customer experience with Condusiv software solutions


  • Well-versed in modern storage and virtualization technologies
  • Willingness to travel frequently in a multi-state territory
  • Strong analytic and management skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure sales environment and to achieve personal and team quotas
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Must be coachable and a quick study
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and Salesforce or similar CRM


  • 5 or more years of B2B selling experience to IT professionals.

BS/BA in Marketing, Business, Technology or equivalent.


Calls on prospects/customers to set up appointments for sales reps.

Telemarketer Job Duties:

  • High volume outgoing phone calls and email origination
  • Qualifies leads and
  • Makes appointments for sales representatives

Telemarketer Skills and Qualifications:
Results Driven, Persistence, Time Management, Telephone Skills, Handles Rejection, Professionalism

Some sales experience preferred but not vital. Person should have good manners and communication skills and be outgoing. He/she needs to be willing to make many, many dials and send many emails every day. Ideally they would have ambitions toward a career in sales but are just starting out.

Intermediate computer skills and software/hardware technology background desired.

25-29 hours per week. Can be located anywhere in the continental US
