Regional Vice President of Sales for NE US

The Regional VP of Sales is responsible for selling Condusiv Technologies products within their assigned territories to new customers. He or she works closely with our established channel of solution providers and distributors, closing a high volume of new business sales and thus achieving assigned sales quotas. The Regional VP of Sales works to increase the profitable sales in the territory, while ensuring customers are satisfied, so they continue to purchase more Condusiv technologies, products and services now and in the future.


Responsibilities:
The Regional VP of Sales is responsible for selling Condusiv Technologies products within their assigned territories to new customers. He or she works closely with our established channel of solution providers and distributors, closing a high volume of new business sales and thus achieving assigned sales quotas. The Regional VP of Sales works to increase the profitable sales in the territory, while ensuring customers are satisfied, so they continue to purchase more Condusiv technologies, products and services now and in the future.

Essential Functions:

  • Research all large IT sites in the assigned territory and identify the key decision makers responsible for purchase decisions.
  • Leverage existing relationships and develop new relationships within the territory to establish awareness of the benefits that can be achieved through the utilization of Condusiv Technologies' products.
  • Manage the sales life-cycle with the objective of positioning products within the target accounts.
  • Partner with the Major Account Manager (inside sales) on established accounts to ensure their complete satisfaction with the objective of up-selling or expanding product placement and/or services.
  • Travel within the assigned territory and develop relationships with Channel Partners. Liaise with the Channel Reps to source opportunities and increase sales volume.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Condusiv's products and the competitive landscape to ensure you can converse with IT managers, System Administrators, CTO's and CIO's.

Requirements:

  • Must possess proven success in building and developing client relationships selling technically-oriented software products from initial contact to the conclusion of the sales process.
  • Excellent communication skills, sales techniques and product knowledge to close sales that result in satisfied customers.
  • Highly knowledgeable in the field of enterprise IT and storage/virtualization in particular.
  • A track record of success in corporate/enterprise software, virtualization and/or storage sales including experience in building and managing partner interactions as required in channel relationships.
  • Experience in selling to medium and large sites and a strong, recent Rolodex.
  • Supervisory experience running and developing lower level sales reps.
  • Must be willing to travel frequently within a multi-state territory, up to 50%.
  • Good computer skills with experience tracking sales activities through Salesforce.com.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Technology, Marketing or related field, or comparable training or experience.
