SSD Performance – Why
my solid state drive so slow?

How does fragmentation affect SSD performance?
The principle issue is write speed degradation due to free space fragmentation. Small free spaces scattered across the SSD cause the file system to write a file in fragments to the small pieces of available free space. This can slow write performance considerably.
SSDs can only write so many times to the drive as they have a finite number of writes that they can perform. Due to the doubling effect of needing to read and erase before it can write again, SSDs undergo twice as much use – shortening the life of the SSD. All SSDs can suffer from these issues unless HyperFast is used to optimize the solid state drive.
HyperFast is the first ever solid state drive optimizer
that is designed to keep your SSD laptops, desktops and netbooks running at top speeds while also extending the lifespan of your hardware - saving you money in replacement costs. HyperFast along with IntelliWrite makes sure that the file system writes the data sequentially.
No scheduling or maintenance is required whatsoever to experience these benefits. Using proprietary InvisiTasking® technology, all HyperFast operations take place automatically with zero overhead and zero resource conflict. It’s literally as simple as "Set It and Forget It"® and your SSD-based laptop or netbook has an instant performance boost.
HyperFast now comes standard with Diskeeper 12, so it will increase the speed and performance of computers with solid state drives and hard drives.
Try Diskeeper with HyperFast to experience faster solid state drive performance
"Your Diskeeper program with HyperFast is the best: speeds up SSD. My Intel SSE
x–25 g2 was rated #3 of 100 new products by PC World last month. We now have most
of our computers with SSD.
"HyperFast is the only way to go. It saves valuable time and cost. There is no way
I could have done this without Diskeeper. HyperFast is the future for SSDs."
